Why “wave or particle”?

In physics, light acts like a wave or like a stream of particles, depending on how you look at it. Work is the same.

Up close, it's particles. Step back, it's a wave.

Up close, a workflow is a pile of particles: an email answered, a row updated, a report pulled together, a reminder sent. Each one is small. Together they eat the week.

Step back and the same work is a wave: one process that should run smoothly from start to finish.

We automate the particles so the wave runs on its own. AI agents take the small, repetitive steps, and your people get their time back for the work only they can do.

Chirag Bhardwaj, founder

Chirag spent about seven years in analytics consulting, turning messy business processes into measurable systems that teams could rely on. He studied at BITS Pilani.

He started Wave or Particle in Halifax because the same tools large companies use to automate their work are now within reach of small businesses and nonprofits. What's usually missing is someone to sit with the team, find the right workflow, and build it properly.

When he's not building agents, he volunteers as a workshop supervisor at the Halifax Tool Library.

Starting close to home

Our first projects are with nonprofits in Atlantic Canada. They do essential work with small teams, which makes every hour of admin we take off their plate count.

Each project becomes a case study, with real before-and-after numbers. They'll appear here as they ship.
